General Education Program

Description and Policies

As part of All-University Degree Requirements, candidates for all baccalaureate degrees must complete

requirements in general education consisting of 36 semester hours. The categories are as follows:

• English Composition (6 hours)

• Mathematics (3 hours)

• Western Civilization (3 hours)

• Fine Arts (3 hours)

• Human Values (3 hours)

• Cultural Diversity and Social Forces (6 hours)

• Approved Bradley Courses CD and SF

• Science and Technology  (6 hours)
