Thesis Information
Important Information!
- Students completing a thesis must turn in a minimum of three copies of the thesis to the Graduate School. Two copies are bound for the library, and one copy is bound for the department. The student can have as many copies bound as he or she desires over the minimum of three.
- Each copy of the thesis must be in a separate envelope with the student's name on the outside. A Record of Thesis form must be completed and submitted with the thesis copies.
- All thesis copies must be prepared for binding. The Graduate School will not open the envelopes to check for format, page order, etc. The way you submit the thesis is the way it will be bound.
- All copies must be paid for in advance. Payment can be made at the Cashier's windows in Swords Hall or by check or credit card in the Graduate School, 200 Bradley Hall.

Graduate Students writting a thesis should use this guide to learn about formatting requirements, submission, use of copyrighted material, and reference manuals.
Thesis Binding Fee
Graduate Students writting a thesis must pay a fee of $20.00 per copy (three copies required) for thesis binding and handling. This fee, which is subject to change, must be paid in either the Graduate School or in the Controller's Office prior to submitting the completed thesis to the Graduate School. If the fee is paid in the Controller's Office the thesis must be stamped by the Controller's Office varifying the fee has been paid. If the fee is paid by credit card in The Graduate School students should use the Credit Card Payment Form. The thesis must be signed by the coordinator.
