Giving to the CS/IS Department

Your donations (both cash, equipment, and in-kind) are used wisely within the department for equipment, resources, or whatever your designation may be. For more information on each of these areas, please contact the Department Chair, Dr. Jim Miller, or the Office of Development at Bradley University.

CapstoneMonetary Donations

Monetary donations can be given to the department for general department funding or for specific requests made by the donor. With five heavily used labs, new equipment is required to keep up with changing technology and keep our students abreast of the latest tools available in industry.

Equipment Donations

Those with access to used but useful equipment can donate it to the Department for use within the five labs. Networking, AI, Robotics, and Software Engineering hardware and software licenses are accepted. Of particular interest is equipment that is recently new that can be incorporated into the teaching curriculum or for special student projects, like Senior Projects.

In-Kind Donations

Other donations of time and materials is accepted and used within the Department and for Student Activity Organizations within the Department. Types of activities that can be funded are corporate site visits for a group of students, presentations by companies, and even food for socials within the Department.
