Dr. Montgomery is a Full Professor and has been at Bradley University since 1993. His research examines the intersection of language and cognitive development in preschoolers' self-control and their understanding of mental concepts. Dr. Montgomery’s student collaborators have been accepted into numerous graduate programs including doctoral programs at the University of Indiana, Ohio State University, Vanderbilt University, University of Illinois, University of Texas at El Paso, St. Louis University, and Arizona State University. These doctoral students are in the areas of clinical, developmental, legal, and social psychology. Dr. Montgomery teaches Principles of Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Cognitive Development.
