Research and Teaching Interests

Claire Etaugh received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from the University of Minnesota. She is Professor of Psychology at Bradley University where she has taught Psychology of Women courses since 1979. A Fellow of the Society for the Psychology of Women and Developmental Psychology divisions of the American Psychological Association, she has published over 100 articles in such journals as Psychology of Women, Sex Roles, Child Development, and Developmental Psychology. She is the co-author of The World of Children, Psychology of Women: A Lifespan Perspective, and Women’s Lives: A Topical Approach. She has been a consulting editor for Psychology of Women Quarterly and Sex Roles.
