Dr. Koeltzow is an Assistant Professor and has been at Bradley University since 2006. His research examines the development of compulsive cocaine-seeking behavior in rodents and in the identification of corresponding changes in protein expression and neuronal excitability that occasion this event, particularly in reward-relevant regions of the brain. Additionally, he is interested in the ability of enriched and impoverished environments to influence the vulnerability to addiction and relapse in cocaine-exposed rodents. Dr. Koeltzow teaches Principles of Psychology, Experimental Psychology, History and Systems, and Physiological Psychology.
