Major requirements
To major in psychology the student must complete a minimum of 34 hours that include:
- PSY 104: Principles of Psychology (with a grade of C or better).
- PSY 205: Quantitative Methods (with a grade of C or better).
- PSY 306: Experimental Psychology.
- A minimum of one course from each of the following categories. (Only Jr.-Sr. classes may be transferred from other institutions as category requirements).

PSY 345, Abnormal Psychology
PSY 410, Health Psychology
Category D: Quantitative and Integrative
PSY 411 Tests and Measurements
PSY 415, Intermediate Statistics
PSY 439, History of Psychology
PSY 452, Personality Theories and Theorists
- Three semester hours of BIO 121 (Life Science I), BIO 122 (Life Science II), or BIO 200 (Human Anatomy and Physiology).
- Nine additional semester hours (3 courses) from any of the psychology course offerings (including those listed under item 4 above) except only 6 hours of individual study courses (PSY 380, 481, 491) will count toward the major.
- Completion of Psychology Department senior exit exam within the final semester
at Bradley as an undergraduate.
