Re: Semi-annual report

The committee has had only one organizational meeting during the fall semester. During that meeting the priorities and plans for the remainder of the academic year were developed. The committee also determined that having an acting chair with experience was useful and asked that he continue to serve at the pleasure of the Senate President.

The committee will continue its interviews with various administrators under a two year rotation. The development of a joint sub-committee with Admissions & Retention will remain a goal. The committee will also begin to prepare proposals concerning the Senate role in the areas of the Americans with Disabilities Act and spousal hiring.
