RE: Handbook Editor

Add to Chapter I, E., Article II, Section 2 following 3)

The Senate Executive Committee shall select from the full-time faculty a candidate for the Faculty Handbook Editor who shall be ratified by the Senate. He or she shall serve a term of two years and may be nominated for additional terms.

The Faculty Handbook Editor shall:

a) serve as an ex officio member of the Senate;

b) maintain the online Faculty Handbook by making
additions, deletions, and revisions in an appropriate
and timely manner;

c) inform the University community of changes that have
been made;

d) develop and maintain a digital archive of all Handbook
materials that have been replaced or revised so that the
lineage of all changes can be traced;

e) assist members of the University community in
accessing the online copy of the Handbook and
producing hardcopies of sections or in its entirety when
requested to do so;

f) maintain hardcopies in the offices of the President and
Provost and the library by placing a hardcopy of any
changes in an accompanying folder and annually
provide up-to-date copies.
