The University Sabbatical Leave Committee received eighteen sabbatical leave applications. All five colleges were represented among the applications, with two applications from Business Administration, three from Communications and Fine Arts, one from Education and Health Sciences, three from Engineering and Technology and nine from Liberal Arts and Sciences.
After studying and evaluating the applications the Committee's recommendations were forwarded to Provost Liberty on November 23, 1998. On January 12, 1999 the Provost informed the Committee that eighteen sabbatical leaves were approved for the academic year 1999-2000.
Respectfully submitted,
William Hammond, Engineering and Technology
Tracy Harris, Liberal Arts and Sciences
Bonnie Hinrichsen, Education and Health Sciences
John Jost, Communications and Fine Arts
Kevin Teeven, Business Administration (Chairperson)
