Women in Engineering
The Women in Engineering Award provides up to $2,000 in scholarship recognition for women who enroll in the Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University. These competitive Scholarships may be combined with other Bradley University Scholarships for awards ranging upward to full tuition. Awards are for a student’s first year of study and are not renewable.
A selection committee will determine finalists based on the applicants' academic achievements, participation in co-curricular activities, leadership and service, and potential for success in the profession. Applicants will also be required to submit a written recommendation from a school official (teacher, counselor, principal).
Students eligible to apply for this scholarship must:
- Be admitted as a first-time fall 2013 freshmen to the Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University by March 1, 2013.
- Submit the following Women in Engineering Scholarship application online by March 1, 2013.
- Rank in the top 20% of their high school graduating class.
- Score a minimum of a 24 on the ACT or 1100 SAT. (Exceptions may be made relative to rank and test score based on other factors relating to service and leadership.)
