“When we became a part of the program six years ago it was to be supportive of Bradley University and Bradley Athletics. As we got into it, we’ve been able to build strong relationships and play a small part in the lives of three young men. Now we are involved because it gives us such joy.”
Michael Bryant
“The Bryants are there for me when I need them offering emotional support. They’re my family away from home. It’s great to have a second set of parents in the stands, and I’m glad to go out on the court and make them proud and represent them well.”
Andrew Warren ’10, Men’s Basketball

The Braves Scholarship Society is comprised of Bradley University alumni and friends of intercollegiate athletics who have chosen to support one of 14 varsity programs. Through membership in this society, donors have the opportunity to personally follow an athlete’s growth throughout his or her career as a Bradley Brave. Membership is one of the most rewarding ways to become involved in Bradley Athletics. Braves Scholarship Society gifts impact Bradley University athletes from their first day on campus to graduation. Every component of BU Athletics is touched by the generous contributions of its members, including student and academic life, competition, facilities and graduation outcomes.
Your involvement may be directed to any of 14 varsity programs:
Based on your specific athletic interests, you are matched with a student-athlete. As a member, you determine the level of your involvement. Some choose to be very involved in getting to know their student-athlete (within NCAA rules, of course, which we will explain). Others find satisfaction in knowing that they are supporting a student-athlete from a specific part of the country or who is studying a particular curriculum without interacting with their recipient as often. Or, you may simply request to have your gift directed to a varsity program.
