"NEW" HIGH SCHOOL BAND CAMP SET TO BEGIN IN JUNE

For the past three summers the Central Illinois Summer Band Camp (CISBC) has served students who have completed 6th, 7th or 8th grade. This has been a highly successful commuter camp for students in the tri-county and the dates are set for June 16-20, 2008. Directors and past participants will receive application materials in early February.

The success of the CISBS has led to the creation of a new commuter camp for Central Illinois that will be called the BRADLEY SENIOR HIGH SUMMER BAND (BSHSB). This camp, directed by David Vroman and staffed by area music teachers, will offer 80 students the opportunity to participate in an "honor band like" experience over two and a half days. The camp dates are June 12, 13 and 14, 2008. Camp materials will be sent to Central Illinois High Schools in early February. For more information contact Dr. Vroman at dvroman@bradley.edu or call 309-677-2605.
