Bradley University's Annual Fit Fair Hosted by Get Fit Stay Fit
What is the Fit Fair?
Three years ago Get Fit, Stay Fit partnered up with campus recreation, academic programs, the Center for Learning Assistance, the Dietetics Program, Triathlon Club, Running Central, and Bradley University Dining Services to put together a kick-off event for the spring semester of Get Fit, Stay Fit. The First Bradley University Fit Fair was formed and developed in February 2012. Since the original kickoff of the event, it has grown to over 35 tables of campus organizations, university academics, university departments, and off campus vendors.
What is the Purpose?
The mission of the Fit Fair is to teach and convey knowledge on various topics all related to health and wellness
What should I expect to see?
Some of the vendor at the 2015 Fit Fair are FREE food samples, Running Central's gait analysis, injury and health screenings, nutrition information, body image, breast cancer awareness, water hydration, alcohol and sexual health information, and much more!
Look out for the various FREE fitness classes throughout the Fair:
11:00-11:20: Cycling with Brenna
12:00-12:20: Yoga with Garrett
1:00-1:20: Zumba with Sue
2:00-2:50: Bootcamp with Anna
* All equipment will be provided for these classes*
Participation in Fitness Classes = a chance in the Raffle of amazing prizes like GoPro and Fit Bit, along with numerous gift cards and fitness items. Raffle occurring at 2:45pm, members do not have to be present to win.
When/ Where is the Fit Fair?
The 2015 Fit Fair will be held on courts 1 and 2 in the Markin Recreation Center from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on February 6th.
