Ragtime: The Musical
September 22 - October 2, 2011
Book by Terrence McNally, Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, Music by Stephen Flaherty
Ragtime, the Tony Award-winning musical, is an epic tale of a young American played out in song and dance that paints a nostalgic and powerful portrait of life at the turn of the twentieth century. Ragtime intertwines the stories of three extraordinary families as they confront history's timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair and what it means to live in America.
