Our National philanthropy is the Prevention of Domestic Violence. We help raise awareness about domestic violence and our local chapter's efforts benefit the Center for Prevention of Domestic Abuse in Peoria and the National Foundation for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse.

Our Spring '07 philanthropy event is a food drive benefiting the local women's shelter. We will be distributing paper grocery bags to local neighborhoods and place boxes in buildings and dorms around campus beginning March 3rd. On Saturday, March 10th we will be collecting items, sort them, then bring them to the shelter.

This Fall '07, our philanthropy event is the Tri-Star Challenge taking place from September 24th to September 30. The week of events is as follows:

Monday, September 24th-- Subway 4-8p

Wednesday, September 26th-- Candle Light Vigil 7-9p on Olin quad

Thursday, September 27th-- Cookout 4-7p at the AXO house

Sunday, September 30th-- Dodgeball Tournament starts @ noon
