C-E-O Advantages |
|
General Advantages: You cannot run a business or use academic
channels for profit as an independent person or group, on
campus or in relation to Bradley University without proper
licensing. CEO is the only organization on campus that
is allowed to make a profit, and individual members
can too through
organization fundraisers and by purchasing stock in CEO-run
ventures!!
1. There are other
students with similar interests all working towards the same
goal - owning one's own business
2. Help is available from faculty and
the College with support and encouragement as being a student
owned and run organization.
3. With your business underway, you
can begin to enjoy the benefits of owning and running your own
business. Many CEO members will be interested in the success
of your venture, all while you enjoy the benefits and support
stemming from being a member of CEO. |
|
Umbrella Effect: So
you want to start your own business on campus? Under the CEO
umbrella, your business becomes more of a possibility. What
exactly is the CEO umbrella?
The CEO umbrella could be considered a cover for you to
run your business on campus. While you are under the
umbrella, or support of CEO, you can conduct your
business on the university campus pending approval from CEO
officers, members, and the university. Upon receiving
approval, a determined percentage of revenues or profit will
be designated to be paid to the university and CEO. These
percentages will be minimal and will only serve to keep ties
to the CEO organization. |
