The Club was founded May 14, 2001 by Rob DiGangi, with the intention to provide an avenue for those who enjoy the sport of roller hockey to play on campus and to play competitvely inthe Collegiate Roller Hockey League.

In 2002, the club consisted of 13 players who began the Roller Hockey Team, and played 10 games against other schools in the Midwest Region of the CRHL (MCRHL).

The Bradley Braves were unanimously voted into the MCRHL as active members for the 2002-2003 season, and play in Division II of the league.
