Senate experience: Student Body Vice President April 2009-April 2011
Campus and community involvement: Sustainability Committee, Residential Life Staff, Economics Club, Student Advisory Committee, Bradley Honors Program
Why I joined Senate: As a freshman I found that Bradley University lacked some opportunities and resources- specifically recycling, late night food options, wireless internet and an outlet for students to have their voices heard. I joined Senate to address these issues and have been repeatedly impressed with the Senate's ability to serve as a catalyst for change and the administration's willingness to address student concerns. This year, with the help of the Student Senate and the Executive Board, I plan to address issues with Bradley's ForeWarn system, expand Bradley's recycling program, and improve academic advising. Additionally, we are working to address issues with campus housing and maintenance, and to improve Senate's communication with the student body.
