Chapter of Sigma Kappa
Bradley University
The Beta Nu Chapter of Sigma Kappa Sorority was established at Bradley University in 1947. Sigma Kappa provides its members with a bond of sisterhood and friendship, enabling these women to succeed and grow socially, spiritually, and intellectually while maintaining a strong commitment to the service of others. For over sixty years, Beta Nu has been active not only within the Bradley University community, but also throughout Peoria, helping raise money and awareness regarding the Maine Seacoast Mission, gerontology, Alzheimer’s disease, and Inherit the Earth. In addition to our commitment to service, Sigma Kappa focuses on the bonds of sisterhood and becoming the best women we can be. Beta Nu strives to develop leadership within each of our members while stressing the importance of scholastic achievement. We participate in numerous teambuilding and sisterhood activities to strengthen friendships and hold various informational workshops to keep our members informed, safe, and happy. Sigma Kappa at Bradley University is a sorority composed of amazing women and truly is a home away from home.
