Students and faculty visit the Helsinki Cathedral
during their trip to Helsinki.
Bradley’s collaboration with the Helsinki Polytechnic University (Stadia) goes back to 2000. The cooperation has included Stadia sending five students to Bradley for a full semester of business courses as well as Stadia hosting 30 Bradley students during a two-week May interim course in each of the last two years. Stadia provides logistics and some instruction and arranges visits to global companies like NOKIA and KONE. The cooperation has lead to Bradley faculty being involved in research and publication efforts with faculty at Stadia.
Most recently the collaboration has expanded to Tekes, the Finnish funding agency for technology and innovation. Tekes plans to visit Bradley, Caterpillar, and the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center in the spring of 2008. This will continue to expand the collaborative efforts between students, faculty, and the global companies associated with Bradley University and Stadia.
