![]() London Trip Travel Insurance In general, travel insurance protects your travel investment should you need to withdraw from a trip due to illness or other covered reasons. The cost of the travel insurance is based on the cost of the trip and will reimburse you for a percentage of the non-refundable cost of your trip. Bradley University highly recommends that you purchase two types of travel insurance from Travel Insurance Services. InterMedical – This insurance provides medical coverage to pay for medical care while you are outside of the U.S. This policy also covers the cost of medical evacuation. If you do not have travel insurance, you will be responsible for the cost of any treatment. Medicare does not cover medical expenses outside of the United States. Trip cancellation insurance – This insurance protects your travel investment by allowing you to cancel or interrupt your trip for specific covered reasons. You can also upgrade to “Cancel for Any Reason” insurance for a small fee.
