Presidents from the Prairie
A Tour of Four Midwest Presidential Museums
Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn more about four world leaders from the heartland: Herbert Hoover, Dwight Eisenhower, Harry Truman, and Abraham Lincoln. We'll visit the four presidential museums plus the national World War I museum in Kansas City.
Your host will be Bernie Drake, veteran tour guide, who will offer his expertise to lead our five-day bus trip. Bernie is an avid student of the Civil War and has hosted several trips to important related sites. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Peoria Historical Society. Bernie will be joined by Bradley veteran traveler, Sue Manley.
This program is co-sponsored by the Peoria Historical Society and Bradley University Continuing Education.
