Instructor

Dr. Dharitri Ramaprasad is at Bradley University during the fall semester on a Fulbright Visiting Lecturer Scholarship. She is a Clinical psychologist and Associate Professor at the Richmond Fellowship Post Graduate College for Psychosocial Rehabilitation in Karnataka , India , and she is the program manager for the rehabilitation facilities run by the organization. Dr. Dharitri has a master's degree in psychology from University of Rajasthan and a M.Phil in Medical and Social Psychology from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, India . In addition, she has earned a Doctorate in Psychology from Bangalore University , India , and she received a Certificate in Supervision Skills and Theory from the Central School for Counseling Training, London through South India Aids Action Program, India.

For the last 25 years, Dr. Dharitri has consulted at her private clinic, working with adolescents, students, and adults. Her work includes family therapy and couple therapy. For thirteen years, she served as a consultant to the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore , and for seven years with the Bangalore Kidney Foundation. Along with writing numerous publications, she is an affiliate with “Santulan” and PPC Worldwide, the leading providers of Employee Assistance and Critical Incident Support Services in India . She is a Fellow with the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists, for which she served as Honorary General Secretary for four years. She is a Life Member of the Behavioral Medicine Society of India and the World Association for Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
