David
N. Simon graduated from Bradley University in 1992. His
untimely death the following year occurred at the threshold
of marriage and career. To honor the life of David Simon,
friends and family members established an endowed scholarship
fund. DavidŐs memory lives on through the many hundreds
of lives he touched by his love and caring.
During the 1999-2000 academic year four students
will receive financial assistance from the David N. Simon
Memorial Scholarship. These students had an opportunity
to meet with the Simon family for lunch on Saturday, September
25, 1999. Each year, members of the Simon family travel
from their Chicago area home to Peoria, and meet the David
N. Simon Memorial Scholarship recipients.
