My work originates within the boundaries of photography. It has been photography through the due process of theme, which has seduced me to trespass beyond the limits of what is conventional, by testing alternate techniques that allow me to express feelings, abstractions, and proposals more intimately and expressively.

Using photomontage to create a surreal dialogue between subjects and objects of different natures moved me deeply; I chose this path as the main way of expression.

Subsequently I experienced my close encounter with computers and I realize that the images that I used to combine and mix in the dark room in black and white could benefit themselves with the addition of color. The tools of the trade were still the same but in digital fashion applicable to color in a more practical way to use. Digital techniques allow tremendous savings in materials, time and resources. Having the means of expression does not necessarily imply having valid results. Results are a by-product of experience, observation of artistic trends and above all, constant research and practice based on trial and error. My images represent environmental influences, personal conflicts and points of view, social relationships in a world of struggle, especially in my country where shocking experiences happen at any moment. I order the images by series, compiled through a process of several years.
