As an image maker, I am concerned with balancing the technical aspects of the digital medium with the

content and psychological parts of my work. There are so many new toys to play with that it gets easy to lose sight of the spirit of things. As more canned special effects find their way into people's hearts, it becomes increasingly difficult to arrive at a unique personal signature.

In order to keep from getting absorbed completely by the idiosyncratic vision of certain filter and plug-in designers I have turned inward to get inspiration from the complexity of human psychology. It is a hauntingly frail world that is as complex as it is bizarre. This journey is still young. I only hope that I make it back in good shape.
