As a fine artist working in the late Twentieth Century I have access to multiple mediums, experiences and influences from throughout the ages. These environmental and historical factors are reflected in my work and are expressed in mediums including: painting, photography, digital imaging and installation works.
In the work presented as a part of Digital Photograph '96, "Borofsky's Le Therapeute," I have incorporated image fragments, created by other artists, which I weave into a 300 dpi Photoshop construction presented as an Iris print.
At times, I move the digital imagery into a painting medium via a color Xerox transfer to acrylic paint. I take the resulting skin of paint, which contains the transferred Photoshop images and apply it to three dimensional cubes prepared using traditional painting techniques.
