Five different images were used to create the image. The kitchen background, the figure in the foreground, and on the mixing bowl, were originally slides scanned using a Microtek 1850S slide scanner. The face on the back door and inverted face on the side of the refrigerator started out as Type 809 Polaroid film, 3.25" X 4.25", scanned using a Microtek MS300Z flatbed scanner.
The faces were placed in the image utilizing the layers feature in Adobe Photoshop 3.01. The faces were manipulated using the inverse feature under the "Select" menu and then color balance was adjusted under "Variations" located under the "Image" menu, submenu "Adjust". The Dallas image was manipulated with "Skew" located under the "Image" menu, submenu "Effects".
The final composite was printed on a Fargo PrimeraPro dye sublimation printer.
