This was done in Photoshop 3.0 from a scanned black and white photograph of Lindsey Faucette reclining on a patterned sofa. The effect was achieved by coloring, duplicating, flipping, and re-pasting the image, then selecting for the background and adding a multi-colored gradient. The concept is rather simple, the detail work is in the color balance and the joins. I am bemused by the reactions of casual viewers of this piece. Some think that I have merely photographed an actual tapestry, and a local paper referred to the image as one of frog's legs
