The image of "My Specter" is composed of six separate photographs which are "collaged" together to form one image. Using Adobe Photoshop and Kai's power tools, I was able to manipulate each image in separate "layers" to achieve my final look.
To me, Photoshop's layering capabilities, are essential. I suggest trying out the different types of ways to layer (i.e.. hue, light, dark, etc.) Also "opacity" is key when montaging.
The vital elements to this image include the use of line and form combined with hue and color. They lead your eye upwards and your imagination outwards and help to convey the intention of the image.
"My Specter" is printed on an Iris printer and onto Johnnot watercolor paper. The RGB colors of the image are no less brilliant on the final print than on your computer screen. It is truly an impressive output medium.
