High technology provides artists many choices to choose the proper ways for their creation. Learning different techniques is like learning second or third languages which frees artists minds and broaden their views for their future creation.
My major media is photography, therefore my approach to art creation was through the act of seeing and the real understanding of the appearance. Objective seeing and subjective seeing are two extremes of artistic experiences. When life experiences, visual experiences and emotional experiences come together with particular ways of seeing I am brought into an extraordinary world where my personal reality exists. My digital photography images represented my particular ways of seeing, learning, and understanding of our visible world as well as invisible thoughts.
Subject-selection for a photographer is like mark-making to a painter. The elements that I selected for my images combined some personal icons and the reality of our physical existence. My personal icons in my work do not necessarily represent reality. It could be a sense, a thought, a personal language of whatever you would like it to be.
We never look at just one thing; we are always looking at the relation between things and ourselves. The relationships between each visual element creates the visual perspective. Perspective makes the single eye the center of the world. Perspective is an important characteristic in my images. It could be real or unreal in our environment which could be explained as a freedom of the consciousness or a functional nothingness. Applying multiple or illogical perspectives onto images will create the dream-like atmosphere that can only be seen in our imaginations.
Everyone perceives life differently. Being an artist, it is my benefit to convert my passions and personal emotions into something beyond the status quo. This passion fuels my creative fantasies.
