Accreditation
AACSB International: The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
AACSB is the premiere business education accrediting body in the world. Forbes magazine identified AACSB International as "the golden standard" for business education. AACSB International accreditation assures quality and promotes excellence and continuous improvement in undergraduate and graduate education for business administration and accounting. Accreditation is a process of voluntary, non-governmental review of educational institutions and programs. As a specialized agency, AACSB International grants accreditation for undergraduate and graduate business administration and accounting programs.
The Foster College of Business Administration was first accredited in 1978 and has received its third reaffirmation of full accreditation from AACSB International. In 2005 only 169 schools in the world have been able to meet the high standards for business and accounting education.
