The Department of Accounting consists of nine full-time faculty, including one executive-in-residence. The highest priority of the department is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become certified accounting professionals. Many of the accounting faculty are CPAs, giving them practical insight to share with future accounting professionals. Bradley is one of three private Illinois universities that have earned undergraduate accounting accreditation from AACSB International. Less than five percent of the business schools in the nation have accounting programs accredited by AACSB International.

The department is host to the Bradley chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, a national accounting honor society. Our chapter has received numerous awards being a " Superior” or "Distinguished" as well as the “Most Improved in the Nation".
