CURRENT TEACHING INTERESTS
Dr. Raiborn currently teaches Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced Financial Accounting. He also teaches Accounting for Non-Profit Organizations and Cost Accounting.
CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Raiborn's research interests include CPA association with unaudited financial statements and the evolution of GAAP in the U.S.A. He is also interested in the financial measures of not-for-profit entities (including intercollegiate sports programs).
OTHER INFORMATION
Dr. Raiborn received his CPA certificate in Texas, and he is a CMA with a Certificate of Distinguished Performance. He is also a member of the AICPA and Texas CPA Society.
In addition to his many honors, Dr. Raiborn has been the author of cost accounting texts and articles appearing in the Journal of Accountancy, Management Accounting, Decision Sciences, and other journals. He has more than 25 years of experience as author and discussion leader of executive development and CPA seminars. Dr. Raiborn also has substantial consulting experience with business firms.
