Entrepreneurship
Why Choose Entrepreneurship?
The entrepreneurship major helps students understand the excitement and challenge of owning one’s own business. Students learn the process of analyzing ideas for new products and services and assessing their commercial viability. They are exposed to the various kinds of financing available to new and growing companies, and they learn how the many functional areas of business apply to smaller organizations.
Student Organizations
Students in the entrepreneurship major have opportunities to enhance their learning through outside activities. Two student organizations – the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) and the Acclaimed Intellectual Property Association (AIPA) give members opportunities to hear speakers, attend conferences, and learn how to operate a business.
