Professor Garrett was a Fellow of the 2005 American Marketing Association Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium, was awarded the 2004 Direct Selling Education Foundation Sales Dissertation Grant, was a finalist in the 2004 Marketing Dissertation Award by the Institute for the Study of Business Markets Business at Penn State University, and awarded a $20,000 research grant from the Forum for People Performance Management at Northwestern University.

Professor Garrett teaches in the undergraduate programs on the topics of professional selling, sales management and marketing principles.

Professor Garrett's research centers on understanding behavioral and financial impacts of the firm’s strategic marketing decisions in sales management and business-to-business relationships.

Jason is an ad-hoc reviewer for Marketing Science and served as a reviewer for the 2005 Academy of Marketing Science Conference.
EXPERIENCE
Professor Garrett worked as a Manager/Consultant with Andersen executing strategic consulting in sales, marketing and supply chain management. He has consulted for companies in several industries including pharmaceutical, insurance and consumer goods. He assisted in generating over $1 million in sales and designed incentives, pricing structures and process improvements for most major marketing and sales processes.
