Dr. Donna Hill joined the Marketing Department at Bradley University in the summer of 1989. Before beginning her doctoral work, Donna was an instructor of Marketing at Ball State University.

CURRENT TEACHING INTERESTS

Service Marketing (undergraduate and graduate levels), Advanced Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior and Direct Marketing.

CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

Donna's principal research area is in consumer perception and use of information as it relates to consumer behavior, especially services marketing and customer satisfaction and complaining behavior. Other areas of interest include electronic marketing and the role of the marketing function within a firm. Her research has appeared in Journal of Retailing, Journal of Consumer Policy, The Journal of Applied Business Research, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Services Marketing, Journal of Ambulatory Care Marketing, Journal of Midwest Marketing, Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction and Complaining Behavior and Advances in Consumer Research, as well as the proceedings of numerous other marketing conferences. Donna is an active reviewer and served on the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science Editorial Review Board for eleven years, where she received the 1992 and 1993 Outstanding Reviewer Award. Dr. Hill's research has earned her the 1994 Foster College of Business Administration National Council of Advisors Research Award.

EXPERIENCE

Donna brought a great deal of experience in the non-profit and services marketing arena with her to academia. This experience included employment with the Division of Public Health in Indianapolis, Indiana as well as a Project Director responsible for developing and implementing community programs serving senior citizens in Southern Indiana. Donna is a co-presenter of several professional development seminars on customer satisfaction and measurement as well as Internet Marketing. Dr. Hill has also been a consultant to local small businesses and not-for-profit organizations.
