B.S., summa cum laude Bradley University 1998Heidi Rottier joined the Marketing Department in the Foster College of Business in Fall 2001. Heidi worked as a human resource consultant and generalist for Staff Management, Inc. before coming to Bradley.
TEACHING INTERESTS
Heidi is involved in teaching and administering several different courses. Marketing in a Dynamic World (MTG 150) is an introductory marketing course designed to expose students to basic marketing concepts and the variety of career opportunities in the field of marketing. Heidi is the course administrator for Bradley’s Marketing Presentations (MTG 205) course. MTG 205 is team taught by all marketing department faculty and gives marketing majors the occasion to hone their speaking and presentation skills. As a part of the presentations course, Heidi works with students to develop job search and interview skills through a portfolio detailing their experience and abilities. Heidi also teaches Integrated Marketing Communications (MTG 381), a strategic promotions course, and Principles of Marketing (MTG 315), the Foster College core course in marketing.

Heidi brings experience in both marketing and human resources from her position as a human resource generalist. While employed by Staff Management, she had the opportunity to serve clients such as Caterpillar, Inc. and Teleologic Learning Company. Heidi uses her human resource background as a means for providing career guidance for students, both individually and in the classroom. Heidi is a Central Illinois native and member of the Phi Kappa Phi Hall of Fame.
As a Bradley graduate, Heidi understands the great benefit faculty/student interaction brings to the college experience. In 2005 Heidi was honored as the Outstanding Organization Advisor of the Year for her role as advisor to the Women In Business student organization. Heidi serves as the advisor to new marketing transfer students from other secondary schools, and as a summer advisor to incoming freshman majoring in marketing.
