Business Administration Minor
The Business Administration Minor serves students interested in eventually obtaining an M.B.A., or whose interest include the study the institution of American business, or who desire a basic background in business in order to enhance their personal career opportunities.
A minor in Pre-M.B.A. Business Administration requires 27 semester hours. The courses required are as follows:
ATG 157 Accounting Principles -- Financial
ATG 158 Accounting Principles -- Managerial
ECO 100 Introduction to Economics
or ECO 221 Principles of Microeconomics
ECO 222 Principles of Macroeconomics
QM 262 Quantitative Analysis I
FIN 322 Business Finance
BMA 342 The Legal Environment of Business
BMA 352 Managing in Organizations
MTG 315 Principles of Marketing
Other Requirements:
- Business minors must pass a computer proficiency examination in commonly used business software.
- Students must achieve a GPA of 2.0 in the Foster College of Business Administration hours required for the minor.
- Students must successfully complete the equivalent of MTH 115, Brief Calculus with Applications I.
- At least 15 hours for the minor must be taken at Bradley University and include FIN 322, BMA 352, and MTG 315.
- Students electing to minor in Business Administration may declare their intention by completing the appropriate forms in the Student Services Office of the Foster College of Business Administration. Students must have a declared major and a minimum of 2.0 grade point average.
