Business Studies Minor
The Business Studies Minor incorporates basic courses from most fields of business giving non-business students an understanding of basic business theories and practices. It provides students with an opportunity to gain an introductory understanding and a firm foundation in business studies, enhancing their attractiveness to prospective employers and preparing them for further professional studies.
A minor in Business Studies requires 21 semester hours. Fifteen of those required hours are as follows
ATG 157 Accounting Principles -- Financial
ECO 100 Introduction to Economics
or ECO 221 Principles of Microeconomics
FIN 322 Business Finance
BMA 352 Managing in Organizations
MTG 315 Principles of MarketingSix hours of additional business coursework is also required. These 6 hours may be chosen from any business courses except: BUS201, BUS300, BUS301, and BUS401.
Other Requirements:
Twelve of the 21 hours must be completed at Bradley.
