General Description
Completing the computer proficiency exams or taking the class (BMA172) in the Foster College of Business is required of all incoming freshmen beginning in the Fall, 1996. Successfully completing the proficiency exams or the class satisfies both the Foster College of Business Administration and the University computer usage (CU) requirement.
The proficiency exam consists of two separate tests: Spreadsheet Applications and Microsoft Office Software Integration. The general content of each is described below. The student is expected to be able to work in the Windows XP operating system.
*Engineering students that have completed CON/CE 124 are exempt from this test.
The computer proficiency exam will be offered on Friday, October 30, 2009, at noon in Baker Hall, Room 152. To sign up to take the exam, please contact Pat Koehler at pkoehler@bradley.edu or call 677-2306. You should plan for about 3 hours to complete the exam.
There are two parts to the exam and students should plan to allow 3 hours to complete the entire exam.
