planning for their special occcasions. To view the online Food

We have offered
suggestions, but you may wish to tailor your own menu. Our staff
stands ready to discuss these and other ideas with you.

Steps in Planning
Your Special Event
1.
At the earliest possible date, check room availability with the
Scheduling Office for University Facilities. Discuss all set-up,
equipment, audio visual and catering needs.
2.
Check back with Conference Facilities Department at (309)
677-3056 no later than 72 hours prior to your event to confirm
attendance count and review the menu.
3.
On the day of your event, please arrive at the facility at
the agreed upon time; the conference representative assigned to
your event will met you.
4.
The 2% Civic Center Levy will be added to all food and beverage
items in this booklet for all non-profit organizations. All others
will be taxed at the rate of 10%.
