Two alums are semi-finalists in Forbes.com contestJOE SPROVIERI ’94 of Chicago and TRACY BLOOM SCHWARTZ ’78 of Bethesda, Md., are among 20 semi-finalists in Forbes.com’s Boost Your Business competition. The entrepreneur who receives the most votes for his or her business plan will receive $100,000. Joe is founder and CEO of ReadyPing, a Web-hosted software company offering wait-list management and customer text-message paging to restaurants and other businesses. Joe, who holds an MBA from Loyola University, recently won first place in Loyola’s annual business plan competition. Tracy is president of Green Paper Studio, an online retailer of high-end eco-friendly paper products, including stationery and gift wrap. Tracy holds an MBA from Boston University. She has owned and managed Creative Parties, a stationery store in Bethesda, for 15 years. Voting continues through September 30.
