Baseball at Wrigley
New Bradley baseball coach Elvis Dominguez threw out the ceremonial first pitch and was the guest conductor of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at the Chicago Cubs-Baltimore Orioles game at Wrigley Field on June 25, one day after he was named the University’s 15th baseball coach. Dominguez coached most recently at Eastern Kentucky University, where his record was 178-199-2 in seven seasons. In each of the last five years, his teams have recorded at least a 3.0 grade point average as a squad. Dominguez was a four-year starting shortstop at Creighton, where he graduated in 1986. He replaces Dewey Kalmer, who retired in May after 40 seasons — 29 at Bradley. Visit BradleyBraves.com for more information.
