This seminar will help assess and meet the needs of faculty and researchers who may interested in:
- Learning about research trends and the role of collaboration;
- Learning about existing collaborations;
- Building out an existing collaboration;
- Understanding, through example, the dimension that high performance networking and computing can add to their field of scientific interest.

Reality Multimedia, this lecture will present multimedia pushed to demonstrated limits at the extreme September iGrid2005 workshop during which 49 networked demonstrations from 20 countries took advantage of 100 Gigabits of networking into San Diego from Seattle, StarLight in Chicago, and around the world, displayed on huge screens in the just-opened Calit2 building at UCSD.
