Leno headlines Homecoming

September 29, 2010

Are you registered to attend Homecoming 2010 activities? If the answer is yes, pick up the phone and call your best friend from your days on the Hilltop, and plan to meet at the bonfire and pep rally Friday night; the Saturday tailgate party and Braves soccer game; or at the new arena to see comedian Jay Leno in a live performance.

“What is really going to make this event special is if every single alum who’s planning to come back to campus picks up the phone and calls his or her best friend from Bradley University, and brings that person back to campus, too,” said Lori Fan, Bradley’s executive director for alumni relations.

If you haven’t registered yet, do so now by visiting the Alumni Office website.

Homecoming 2010 promises to bring all the spirit and fun of years past with exciting new features that build on campus traditions. Under the theme “Rediscover Bradley,” we draw particular focus to the renaissance you’ll see on the Hilltop. It is truly a time to celebrate our past successes as we behold a very bright future unfolding before our eyes.

“Our alumni, through generous donations of time and treasure, have made possible such an incredible future for Bradley and the students currently on the Hilltop,” said Fan. “We want to welcome each and every one of them back to celebrate all the impressive improvements to campus and continued achievements of our students, faculty, and alumni.”

On Friday, October 15, we officially dedicate Bradley’s new  $50 million arena and basketball practice facility – a magnificent, multipurpose venue that rivals any of its kind across the nation. Don’t miss your opportunity to get tickets to see world-famous comedian Jay Leno on the arena stage Saturday night. Registered alumni get a discounted rate!
