Trio of events to be streamed live

Bradley University is proud to announce that it will provide live Web streams for three events this week: the Graduate School commencement, Nancy Brinker’s on-campus press conference and our 113th Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony.
These three events will be available to view live on the University’s Web site, www.bradley.edu, providing family and friends of the graduates and the entire University Community with a chance to have a front-row seat to each, even if they are unable to make to Peoria. The Web streams are free and will be also be available on the University’s Web site following the events to provide an opportunity for on-demand viewing.
Below are the complete details of each event:
The Graduate School commencement ceremony will be held Thursday, May 13, in the Markin Family Student Recreation Center. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. CDT.
Mr. Rajesh Soin, a member of the Bradley Board of Trustees, will give the commencement address and will be awarded the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
Nancy Brinker Press Conference
Nancy Brinker, a former U.S. Ambassador to Hungry and the founder of Susan G. Komen For the Cure, is will deliver the undergraduate commencement address on Saturday, but she will first take part in an on-campus press availability Friday, May 14, at 3 p.m. CDT. The event will feature a discussion between Brinker and Bradley President Joanne K. Glasser, who will reflect on their battles with breast cancer and take questions from local media.
The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will take place Saturday, May 15, at the Peoria Civic Center. The event will begin at 10 a.m. CDT and Nancy Brinker will deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2010. Ambassador Brinker will be awarded the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
