- At the time the ball is contacted on the serve, all players must be positioned in serving order and within the boundaries of the court.
- After the serve, players may exchange positions, however back line players may not block or spike while in front of the 10 foot line.

All players must put their name and ID number on the score sheet every game they play in. Players are only allowed to play on one (1) men’s or one (1) women’s team. The only way players can play on two teams is if they also play on a corec team. The first team that the player plays on is the team the player is locked to for the season. There is no moving "up" from a lower level league to a higher level or moving "down" from a higher level to a lower level league.
B. SUBSTITUTE
- After checking in with the officials, substitutes may enter the game at the right back position on any dead ball. Substitute must play a complete rotation and then may go out after returning to the serving position.

- Each team is allowed two 30 second time outs per game.
- Only the serving team may score.
D. PLAYING THE GAME

It is the team captain’s responsibility to file a written formal protest for rule application, interpretation, or eligibility by 4:30 p.m. the next business day along with a $10.00 protest fee. If the protest is overturned, then the $10.00 will be returned.
