| |
Send compressed ZIP files to Windows users with one-click! Using the keyboard combination CTRL+Click displays a new option "Create Archive of ......". It creates a new file to email colleagues while preserving the original. |
|
| |
There's more than one way to eject a CD. Sure, dragging it to the trash is the safest way, but it doesn't always work. What are the other options? Try one of these to see if it helps:
1. Boot your computer while holding the mouse button.
2. Take an unfolded paper clip to that little round hole on your CD drive. Insert the paper clip, and press gently until the CD ejects. |
|
Force Quit Applications |
| |
Occassionally programs will hang or freeze causing the computer to come to a standstill. Mac OS X provides a way to quit un-responsive programs and resume normal activities. Use this keyboard combination to display the Force Quit Window.
Apple + Option + Escape
Choose the program from the list and choose quit. Non-responding applications will be displayed in red. |
